Since this isn't a branch-coordinated assignment, all approved to take the trip must bear all costs involved in accepting the assignment, including transportation and lodging. The brother near Synder mentioned that he may be able to coordinate with his congregation to assist those who can't cover the expense of housing. If you have any specific costs you are concerned about, please contact Ryan Wilmot to see what can be done.

All approved to take the trip must bear all costs of accepting the assignment, including transportation and lodging. For rooming, there are some recommended hotels on the rooming page of the website. The rooming is reasonably priced with various options, including:
Hotels
Motels
Verbo
Air BNB
Depending on the size of our group, there may be additional room for publishers to join. The max group size is 20. Assuming we have room, they should ask their elders for one application. You can send this through email. The publishers should fill out only the shaded box on the front page of the application and list their names in the table below the shaded box. The rest of the application, including the back page, should remain blank. Then, they must give the application to their Congregation Service Committee for approval. The publishers are immediately approved to go with the group as soon as the elders approve the application. The service committee will give a copy of the approved application to the team captain (Ryan Wilmot) so that he has the assurance that everyone in his group is approved by their respective service committees. This may be done via e-mail.
Some might be willing to be used as replacements if any of the original 20 persons have to cancel for one reason or another.
Or two separate groups could be formed. Each team captain will receive a separate and different assignment. All should understand that even if these groups later share in size so that now there would be 20 persons or less if the two groups consolidated, it would not be appropriate to make a request to cancel one assignment and keep the other assignment. The two team captains should keep their respective assignments even if both groups later shrink to much less than 20 persons in each group.
Receiving an assignment does not authorize a group to work in the unassigned territory permanently. Once the assignment has been completed or the deadline has expired, the group should terminate its door-to-door activity. Of course, if group members can visit, telephone, or write to those interested, that would be good. However, the group should not continue working on this territory once its assignment period has expired. After the group completes the assignment, you should send the new map(s) and the completed Record of Interest forms to the closest congregation(s) so that they can make return visits on the interest found. Record of Interest forms or maps should not be sent to the Territory Desk.
Meals should be planned before venturing into the territory. Like other cities, Snyder has grocery stores, convenience stores, and restaurants. Here are some recommendations:
HEB
United Supermarkets
Wal-Mart Supercenter
Allsup Convenience
Butchers Block
Mrs. Kathy Southern Comforts
Ponderosa
Amore
The Dolphins Restaurant & Grill
Brother Pena from the congregation West of Synder mentioned that it may be difficult to find restrooms once in the territory. He said it may take up to 45 minutes to reach the closest restroom. Please plan accordingly to ensure limited restroom breaks. I'm considering bringing a compost toilet or other portable toilet for emergencies.
